Love all these bold, brilliant colors of a glorious blue sky day on the rocky coast of Maine! Ingrid & Will had that in spades.
Prouts Neck, in case you haven’t heard of it, is an artist’s colony tucked away and hidden between the french fry & pin ball pier of Old Orchard Beach and the gritty mill town of Saco. It’s technically part of Scarborough…but it might as well be worlds away. Winslow Homer called it home many a Summer, as do a handful of families lucky enough to own a “cottage” on it’s bluffs. William spent Summers growing up on Prouts, and it was a natural choice for their wedding.
The rehearsal dinner and reception took place at Prouts Neck Yacht Club–perched overlooking Saco Bay. Tents were provided by Sperry Tents.
The ceremony took place at the 1890 St James Summer Chapel. Many generations of the grooms family married in the chapel. The couple signed the registry just below both Will’s father and grandfather’s original wedding day signatures!Things we love about this wedding:
