Scottish Wedding, Harraseeket Inn, Freeport Maine

The Harraseeket Inn is one of the best reason to visit Freeport Maine.  It’s a hidden gem that serves up some of the best food in the area. It’s also a very romantic spot for a wedding–in any season.Scott & Lindsay’s was on one of those quiet drizzly days we get here in early Fall in Maine.  The air is so hushed and the greenery pops on days like this…perfect for some beautiful photo opps.Love those blue toes and bright red shoes!  Little hidden details like this are so much fun…especially for the bride who carries a secret around with her all day!I like to use infrared once and awhile to do very dramatic, haunting portraits…Lindsay’s eyes just drew me in that day.The area where they do outdoor ceremonies has the most beautiful terraced English Garden.  I was able to quietly hop around and get interesting angles of the processional–love that flexibility and it really captures the layered beauty of the ceremony.Things we love about Lindsay & Scott’s Wedding…

The Harraseeket Inn…for providing a romantic setting in the heart of Freeport Maine.
Kilts…and all those Scottish details for just being fun to photograph and look at!
Scott & Lindsay…for rocking the sporran!
